Massive Charity Market to Kick off the Holiday Season in Austin
Christmas will come early this year in Austin, with the return of A Christmas Affair: a five-day holiday shopping event held to benefit the Junior League of Austin and its non-profit community partners. The Junior League is an organization of women dedicated to community improvement through the work of effective action and leadership. Each year, members of the League serve more than a combined 160,000 hours of community service, gaining key professional skills while giving back to the local rea.
As in years past, the 2021 Christmas Affair will be held at the Palmer Events Center, located at 900 Barton Springs Road in Austin. Among the exciting events held at this year's showcase will be a raffle for the chance to win a stylish handbag from French designer Christian Louboutin. Raffle tickets can be purchased online via the official website, with the drawing set to take place Saturday, November 20th via livestream. Only residents of the state of Texas are eligible to enter.
From November 17th to the 21st, event attendees can browse the wares of more than 200 individual retail merchants hailing from every corner of the country. With so much to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect holiday gifts for the loved ones in your life.
