Kristian Mercado’s If You Were the Last saw two astronauts stuck in space. Millennials were pitted against baby boomers in Lisa Steen’s Late Bloomers, whilst brothers Cameron and Colin Cairnes’ Late Night with the Devil and The New Americans: Gaming a Revolution were crowdpleasers. Brittany Snow also returned to SXSW to premiere her directorial debut, Parachute.
